The Magalex Story<\/h2>\n

Magalex<\/a> is a general contractor specializing in high-end residential construction in the Laurentians. Every project is custom-designed and involves numerous subcontractors and suppliers. This requires rigorous coordination from the estimating stage through to the project\u2019s financial follow-up.<\/p>\n

As the company grew, the increasing number of communications, documents, and tracking files made information harder to find and use. Magalex therefore sought a solution that could support its operations, provide a stronger framework for its projects, and give it a faster view of their progress.<\/p>\n

After an initial custom-development attempt that only partially met its needs, Magalex wanted a more predictable approach: a clear roadmap, a controlled budget, and a platform that could evolve with the company.<\/p>\n

The main challenge was not a lack of tools, but their fragmentation. Email was used for requests for quotations, Dropbox for document filing, Excel for budget tracking, and QuickBooks for accounting, with no continuity between these environments.<\/p>\n
