The very first edition of the Solulan Poker Gala took place on May 8, an evening that will undoubtedly remain etched in our memories.
Beyond the event itself, this initiative truly reflects what drives us at Solulan: building lasting connections, bringing our ecosystem together, and making a tangible contribution to causes that have a real impact.

A unifying evening driven by generosity
In an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, nearly 200 professionals and decision-makers came together to enjoy an experience that was both festive and meaningful.
A dinner cocktail, engaging conversations, a poker tournament, and a silent auction set the pace for the evening, creating many opportunities to connect and exchange. Above all, what stood out was the quality of the interactions and the genuine pleasure of seeing clients, partners, and members of the business community come together in a setting that felt more personal and human.
Over $30,000 raised for youth mental health
What truly defined this first edition was the collective engagement of the participants.
Thanks to their generosity, more than $30,000 was raised throughout the evening, notably through the silent auction, donations, and the enthusiasm surrounding the poker tournament.
“At Solulan, we believe our role goes far beyond IT. We have a responsibility to be actively involved in our community and to support causes that make a real difference. The Solulan Poker Gala was born from that conviction.”
— André Boutin, President of Solulan

Supporting a cause that truly makes a difference
All funds raised during the Gala were donated to Domaine du Jeune Saule, an organization dedicated to supporting the mental health of children and adolescents.
Their approach focuses on diverse, youth-adapted methods such as art, music, sports, nature, and interaction with animals, concrete ways to provide accessible and meaningful tools to those who need them.
For Solulan, supporting an initiative like this was a natural choice. Contributing to the well-being of communities is an integral part of who we are—just as much as supporting organizations in their day-to-day reality.
A commitment that reflects how we do things
This Poker Gala is more than a one-time event. It reflects a broader intention: to be present, to get involved, and to build relationships that go beyond business.
“This project was an exciting challenge, especially as a first edition. Today, we are genuinely proud of what we were able to create and of the impact it will have for Domaine du Jeune Saule.”
— Joannie Mallette, Marketing and Communications Manager at Solulan

What’s next?
This first edition marks the beginning of something meaningful. It confirms our intention to continue creating opportunities to bring our community together and to take concrete action, right here in Quebec.
Because in the end, it is both the relationships we build and the impact we create that give true meaning to what we do.
